Watching 2 things at once

 Okay, nothing special. I managed to watch 4 movies at once and I could tell you the complete story afterwards. Nope, no superpower. Try it, it works for you, too.
Awesome how the brain can adapt to those things quickly.

Oh yeah, Nespresso Dharkan is here!

A new permanent kind of Nespresso coffee?
Yes 2 times! Kazaar and Dharkan.

I immediately made a Dharkan. It's splendid. A very strong taste. You really can recognize the Asian coffee and the cereal roast tone. Wow.
This will be my new favorite, making Indrya my #2.

Switched to Lubuntu 13.04

I just installed the Lubuntu Desktop with Ubuntu 13.04. Looks so fine and it's really fast.

But I wonder why the OpenGL support is gone on my Laptop. With Ubuntu/Unity I can see games running fine with OpenGL. As soon as I log in with Lubuntu UI, games fall back to software rendering :(

I have a Laptop with Intel / nvidia 840M Dual graphics. Runs fine with Unity. But I had this problem on Peppermint OS 4, too.

Anyone knows how to solve this issue?

Did I mention before, I love emacs?

Yes, it's true. I use emacs a lot. Always have a scratch pad open. Guaranteed NSA-free for notes. I even write many articles with emacs and then copy/paste them to the destination.
It's still my most valuable tool.

And get away with that Vim crap! :P
 

Short before the podcasts

Moderate mood today. I think I could go on without a hatred. Umm... no :) The Gamescom 2013 will be a topic and I don't have to say anything good about.

So, the last week was...crap

Here is what happened:

Helicopter photographing the area

Hey, something is flying over my area. No spycopter :) This one seems to make new photos for a service. There are no logo on the machine. So I don't know if this is Google Maps, Bing or maybe a Falk.

Recently, the German map manufacturer is putting some effort in electronic services. They have some great new outdoor navi devices for geocachers and bikers.

Finally I'm done with the podcasts

Really, it was full of stress today.

But now... TV and games. For half an hour or so. *sigh*
I need a tree like that above in my garden and cover under it to take a nap.

Yeah, I'm rethinking everything cloud

That's it. I'm backing off the cloud a bit. Privacy is a joke, and I take some precautions now. Leaving US-Servers is one them. Safest thing is not putting something in the net in first line. It feels like 1996. Thanks, US government. You screwed the Internet.

But that means no panic.
Well at least if you do not have any really critical stuff online. For those who have, companies and their secrets e.g. it's a catastrophe.
For me it's the biggest annoyance since the Internet opened and the public had no access.

Now about to repair the windows partition.
