So Google, please buy Twitter already

Well Sundar Pichai seems to push out important messages via Twitter instead of Google+. That's sad and not at all appropriate for Google.
Unless Google wants to buy Twitter. Do it already and merge it with Google+. No not merging directly, but you could cross the feeds just fine. Please, help Twitter out of its misery and make it great again together with the much more advanced Google+.
