My current Ubuntu 13.04 screen

Yes, I like it that way.
I'm not using the terminal all the time, but when I do, I need it quickly there and want to see a bit more info.
That's why I use Guake and Byobu running in it.
Having emacs at hand is also a common thing. I need to scribble all kind of things. Problem is my laptop screen is only 1366*768. Too less to have everything open when surfing the web. Planning to use virtual workspace with 2732x1536 scrolling. Having different workspaces where I can switch to, is not really satisfying for me.
The Unity launcher on the right is only 16px icon size. To change that I've used CompizConfig Settings Manager.

Van Gogh's "Starry Night" is alive

Look closely on the center of the rotating spiral, the look at Van Gogh's picture. Warning, Van Gogh was known to be a "unstable" person. If this harms your brain, I'll take no responsibility ;)

Going to eat something while others spying

Yes you won't believe it. I'll leave the house :D
For some minutes. Need to pick up some food. Hungry like a vegan wolf.

All this news makes me hungry. These days, some show their real face in the comments on that spy-topic.
Looks like paranoia is something not only present in Europe. Some Americans should be ashamed of killing freedom for a false "protection". There is nothing to protect anymore if you killed freedom.
In the related articles you find why goverment spying on you is a bad idea even if you have "nothing to hide". Oh and btw. EVERYONE has something to hide. If not your life are way too boring. You only assume that nobody is interesting in your cat photos. But hey, a book in the background of your photo with a cat in front, can be very interesting sometimes.

Looks like the market didn't receive Apple's presentation well

Just saying. Making iOS look like Android doesn't seem to help much :D

Lately I have the urge to use Twitter a bit more again

But my microblog will be still the way to send tweets for me!
And still Google+ is my place where I'm active most.
If I think about, why Twitter at all? Maybe only because I don't want to bet everything on one horse.

Just reduced my Facebook activity even further by stop pulling content from my blogs to my personal accout and made it invisible for search engine.
Don't find me on Facebook. It's not where I'll be. The account is only for gaming. Playing CityVille etc. Nothing more.

Applidiots in stores are annoying

I went to a big electronic store and looked around at the Android tablet. And a stuff member came up and we talked about the specs, and suddenly he said that there must be a reason that the iPhone 5 is so expensive.
Now what kind of crap is that? First I looked for a tablet, not a phone, second some Android devices are much more expensive than the iPhone. And third, is that the right way to do business? No, I left the place.
What kind of Fanboy is that? He had no clue about the specs, about Android, and certainly not about the Apple iPhone.

Okay, I mean there must be idiots on this world, too. But must they work in tech stores?

Finished with GTA IV Episodes from Liberty City

Yay! And Google+ Photos Auto Awesome feature made it a little celebration party :)

You might wonder why it took so long.
Well in the middle of the last episode, my PS3 died. After all that time, I bought the Episodes on PC to finally play it to the end.

Done...  YAY!

#geocaching today in the wine

Wine as far as you can see. I but I'm looking for containers :-)

At the Renaissance Fair

Always a great fun. Now for the Mocca and the hemp food.

Run Kiwi, run!

Google+ Photos' Auto Awesome feature made Kiwi run :)

Did I mention that I love these new features? Yes, I did...

Interesting what you can find in video games

I found this nice Anime ad within the game. It's no real ad, but a parody in the all sarcastic environment of GTA IV.

In case of the "Princess Robot Bubblegum", you can even watch it within GTA IV :) Awesome. Can we have an anime series with that princess? Pretty please?
